I know. Some of you don’t get it. This poster is derived from a pastel drawing I did from life several years ago in which I was playing with line and shape.

The model is posed looking down for lost body parts, while trying to hold all her body parts together. So you don’t think that's funny? I figure that you can’t really stop the aging process, despite what a certain movie actor thinks, so you might as well poke fun at it.

Since the honoree had a good sense of humor and is open-minded, I felt comfortable teasing her about turning 50. After all, she wasn’t the one who sat naked looking at her navel for me.
